Nix was born into the claws of a travelling group of renegade Beastkin- known for their desire to rid their kind of the 'tyranny' of the dragon race. She was used as a slave; trained to pull their carts and defend their campsites- even to let them ride on her back when scuffles occurred. But this was not the life the young dragon wished to lead. In her rage, she froze her captors in their tracks one fateful day and fled- arriving in the wastes of the Carrion Canyon; only to be picked up by Pulse while she was doing her rounds.
Hardly sociable and unable to relate to many of her kind, Nix is often lonely- not that she allows it to stop her.
She swears she'll kill every last renegade, even if it costs her her life.

Nix is also one of Catalysta's 'students'. She lives in the matriarch's care and is completely loyal to her. Nobody knows why, but they suspect it's because of the elder soul's calming influence.
