he was once gentle. once quiet, kind, and curious. he collected gemstones and gave them as presents to his mate.

not anymore.

gale knows what caused it. he knows he was infected when he visited the wyrmwound with farore. something from the pit got underneath his scales and infected xe with.. whatever this is. he's not himself anymore. the horrible, thorny tendrils that snake around his body bite into his scales and cause him to moan in pain. his temper is much shorter, so he'll lunge and snap his teeth at anything he perceives as a threat. not gale, though. the pale skydancer is the only one he's gentle with, and the only one allowed to touch him. they don't know how to cure him, but they won't put him down.
