Akura leads the clan alongside Fenarel but tends to not be friendly towards outsiders. As co-leader she has many responsibilities within the clan. While Fenarel deals with negotiations the general well-being of the clan, Akura organizes border patrols and gathering parties. Akura often leads the dawn or afternoon patrols and if she's not on patrol she's usually training other clan-mates in the coliseum. Akura is a traditional mirror and suits the Shadow flight very well. She delights in the thrill of the hunt and is quite ferocious in battle. Like most shadow dragons she's not above using dirty tricks to win a fight and loves to overpower opponents. She has a small wingspan compared to her body length so tends to do all her fighting on the ground.

Backstory
Akura knew she was different from other dragons. From the moment she was born she was alone, though born isn't quite the right word. When she first opened her eyes she was surrounded my dark trees and glowing fungi. She saw no mother or father or even remains of an egg, just herself. She learned by instinct, learning what she needed to survive. When she was older, Akura spent a large amount of time in an mirror hunting pack and enjoyed the constant hunting and killing. She didn't form close bonds with any of her pack-mates as mirrors care little for words and she knew she wouldn't truly fit in, parentless as she was. There was one mirror that intrigued her though, Fenarel a small mirror who was an oddity among the pack. He was a skilled hunter but never seemed to enjoy the thrill of taking down dangerous prey. Plus for a shadow dragon he was quite the open book. The strangest thing about him was that if another pack-mate had to temporarily leave the pack due to injury he would always go with them.

One time Akura got injured and couldn't keep up with the pack so she decided to look for a clan who would take her in. As if on queue Feneral approached her and tried to help her walk. She snarled at him saying she didn't need his help and pushed him away but he continued to follow her. They trekked The Wandering Contagion for ages but found no clans that would take them in. Feneral keep asking Akura to stop so he could tend to her wounds but Akura stubbornly refused, not wanting to rely on another dragon. Eventually Akura's strength faltered and she had no choice but to stop and rest. Fenarel calmly approached and started tending to her wounds as the sun faded below the horizon. Since Akura couldn't continue moving if she wanted to, she decided to talk with Feneral. She learned a lot about him and shared information about herself in return. The more she learned the more intrigued she became and when the morning came, Fenarel left to hunt. Once Fenarel left, Akura reflected on all she had learned and decided she no longer wanted to return to the mirror pack. She felt a strange kinship with Feneral, like there was some connection between them. Akura had never cared about anything other than the hunt, but now she had a new desire, to seek the truth of this strange feeling.
