P E R S O N A L I T Y ______Fortikeco can have a very intimidating presence. He's a large, lean Mirror, and doesn't dress in a very friendly-looking manner. This can be a bit misleading. While he does his best to be intimidating like the other Mirrors of the Immortassacre family, he's plagued with anxieties over how much trust the clan puts in him and the other fighters to keep them all safe. He takes the job very seriously but ranked up faster than he was anticipating and worries he isn't equipped to handle it. Being expected to live up to a paragon of fortitude just because it's his name brings further anxiety. ______He isn't as brave as he wishes he was, but he brings himself to act like he is when he needs to defend the clan.

______Fortikeco spent most of his life in another clan, and not even as a Mirror. His egg was found by a Fire clan on a gathering expedition, and he hatched as a guardian. He lived with them for most of his life scavenging, hunting, and protecting his clan, but he never quite felt like he was where he was supposed to be. The call to seek a charge eventually pulled him away from his clan. It happened many times as he searched, but the final one was when his clan met representatives for a mercenary group known as the Tempest Order. They were just looking to sell some of their excess scraps of metal, and he ended up leaving with them. He felt sure that his charge would be with them.
______However, when he got there, he still felt lost. There was no charge here either. He spoke to a dragon named Ceraun, who used to be a guardian too, but had been changed into a Mirror. She helped him arrange for the funds to be changed into a Mirror too. It was a difficult decision, but the draw to find his charge had gone unresolved for so long that he felt there was nothing else to do.
______His name before all this was Beltak, but the Mirrors decided to call him Fortikeco when he became a Mirror, a word they claimed meant fortitude. He was a little off-put by how much emphasis they put on a name deciding a dragon's life, but they insisted he would be defined by his fortitude. He found a place in the Immortassacre family, and was promoted to the rank of Savage due to his experience. It was a strange ordeal, becoming a Mirror, but Ceraun was more than happy to help him adjust to the new life. They've become fast friends. He discovered a love of running now that he's a Mirror, and Ceraun enjoys running with him.
______Where many of the Mirrors base their fights in raw strength, Fortikeco was never the strongest of dragons, even when he was a guardian. What he does have, especially now that he's a Mirror, is speed. He often leads the charge on an enemy, striking before they can gather themselves and opening the window for the other Immortassacre Mirrors to jump in and swarm them. This is what earned him his rank.
______Fortikeco felt very unprepared to join the ranks of Savages in the clan, but despite his anxieties, there was nothing for it but to step up to the plate... or try. Already an anxious dragon to begin with, his worries only compounded with such responsibility placed on his shoulders. He picked up various types of meditation in his spare time - which some dragons make fun of him for - but they have a spotty record for whether they work or don't. He's still looking for something to keep the worries at bay more effectively and admires so many of the Immortassacre's ranks that don't share his distress. After her introduction into the clan, he found he admired Newt the most. She's confident and can be fierce, but also very kind and gentle. It wasn't long before he developed a crush, but he doesn't admit it openly.
______His wings are very smooth and well maintained - something that's sometimes criticized by dragons that think you must be a ragged mess to be a true fighter. It's mostly due to personal preference. He likes keeping and grooming his wings, and uses their vibrant color in battle to disorient attackers. It's also a calming activity, part of his meditation routine. ...and Newt also once complimented how well-kept they are. He hopes she will again if he keeps doing it. Her getting promoted from Savage to Captain only made him fall even more.
