 B I O G R A P H Y
Chappa'ai (pronounced shop-ah-aye) is named after the name of the StarGate in the Goa'uld language from the StarGate universe. Chappa'ai was brought back to the clan as a young dragon by Shinzon, Sajen's best friend, as an attempt to cheer Sajen up again. Shinzon claimed he found the young nocturne in the middle of the woods, lost and alone, but Chappaai was never one to cooperate, and she tells a very different story. Her version goes like this. She was in the auction house, waiting for her supposed new clan to come and pick her up, but she was coerced away by the silver tongued Shinzon when he was patrolling through. She heard him tell of his lonely hearted best friend, the incredibly handsome and kind Sajen, who only wanted a companion... for life. She willingly (and naively) agreed to go with him back to his clan, made better for her as she was going home to the ice, instead of to the land of fire, which was where she was headed previously. When she got back to the clan, she and Sajen didn't exactly hit it off right from the start. There were many fights, and many nights where Chappaai wanted to go back to where she had come from, and seriously considered running away from Icheb's clan, and returning home to her own. Somehow, she stuck it out, and stayed. Now she and Sajen have come to better settle their differences, and are happier together, though there are times when the rest of the clan can hear them getting started on a fight, and rapidly evacuate the area.
