Main Theme: One Reason

___ Nobody knows what Shikabane was like before she died; they all merely hope she wasn’t much different so they wouldn’t feel obliged to feel bad about her passing. Shikabane as she is now is cruel, merciless. A calamity that destroys lives around her indiscriminately. She’s long since lost hesitation towards killing. And if she doesn’t kill, she makes sure to injure enough for her victim to never fully recover. She lashes out at the tiniest things so the clan learned to leave her alone. They all know they wouldn’t be able to kill her anyway, so all they can do is bear her looming presence and feed her. She does, however, serve the clan in some ways. Any trespasser who is misfortunate enough to cross her path gets taken care of as well as any enemy planning on harming the dragons of the clan. It’s easier for Shikabane to keep them around.
___ She mostly keeps to herself and isolates herself. Her ability to feel emotions was compromised by her death. All she feels now is numbness and void inside. Most of her day is spent chasing prey for her sadistic fights and tracking those who murder her. If she’s not able to continue her task, she’s laying in her cave, pondering.

___ As her name indicates, Shikabane is a reanimated corpse. A mix match of parts that she's not sure whether or not are hers. And, as Shikabane go, this Skydancer died before her time, unfairly. She used to be royal, she used to be beautiful. Her once shining feathers now matted, her gorgeous shining hide now stitched and torn, leathery and coarse.
___ Shikabane's revival was possible due to many factors, the main one being her extreme stubbornness when it came to dying; she just refused to. Her soul lived on. There was also a plethora of forbidden spells used for her reincarnation into this zombie-like creature, as well as naturally born plague magic courseing through her every fiber.
___ Now, Shikabane seeks our the one(s) who killed her in such a gruesome way, formulating a deadly plan over the years which only gets darker and darker the longer she waits. Shikabane is not above killing all those who stand in her way, too. In fact, she has. ~ by KyuuBird #348859

• Shikabane is aromantic asexual.

• Her familiar is called Shi.

• She keeps bones of her most important kills and crafts decorations out of them.

• Shikabane's reanimated body holds well but every few weeks (or less depending on how active she is, on weather/climate...) some stitches inevitably get loose. When that happens, she seeks out Quentin or Sora to fix her.

• She's a beast clan supporter. Unlike most dragons, Shikabane understands and is fluent in languages spoken by beasts of all kind. Who knows what's the true reason behind it, perhaps her death unlocked some otherworldly knowledge.
