-Original name was Kaltenzhan, served in The Carcosian Syndicate as the head of diplomacy and spymistress on the matriarch's high court. Held the position for a very long time, and held it well and with pride. Had a good life, with a mate(Elvhenan) and several clutches of eggs.
-A raid happened on her watch, and several dragons perished under her guidance, including her mate.
-As if the raid and loss of her mate wasn't enough, she contracted an illness which stole the vibrancy of her feathers and stole her beauty.
-Her daughter, Khastur, resurrected her mate Elvhenan as an android soon after, driving Kaltenzhan to the breaking point and causing her to leave the syndicate along with her family.
-She traveled for a long time, never finding the right place to settle down, ghosts trailing behind her. With nowhere to go and nothing to live for, she broke down. This was her lowest point.
-She nearly decided to return, approaching Lightning territories for the first time since she left her post, and her family. She decided against it.
-Eventually, she ended up closer to home than she had planned. Light was enough of a change of scenery for her, though. The clear skies were a welcome change for her, she found that she did love the stars.
-She doesn't realize for many months that this land feels so welcoming because it is her birthplace, her home. She knows that she will make it just that.
-She changed her name, becoming Revan, and abandoned her past. She took on her new role in Clan Yulon gratefully, swearing herself to Kelsus, a commitment she fully intends to uphold, broken and lost as she may be.
-Her illness still plagues her, her feathers are still worn and dull, her past beauty gone and faded. She is unrecognizable, not only to herself, but likely to anyone from her past. After so long, though, memories begin to fade, old wounds dull. She remembers what she had with pride, and looks to the future.
-She's not in the mental state to work as a diplomatic envoy anymore, but she finds that she's still a good spymaster, and decides to take on the role again for the good of the clan.
-Maybe some things don't change.
