This young male found himself twisting and turning his way into the life of his current wing by way of attempting to steal from the clan's hoards. At the time, the hoard was not as boasting as it is today but it was still precious and so when this young Spiral was caught red handed one autumn evening none were pleased with him and he surely would have lost his life if Cenera, the head adviser of the clan, had not stepped in and suggested to Charace and Marahn that instead of killing him that they instead put him to work so that he would repay the clan through work instead of blood. It took some convincing, but the Heads finally gave in to her request and he was sentenced to work for the clan for a year. This is how the Spiral became the vault keeper of the clan. He was given the name Ballard by the Caretaker of the clan because she refused to just call him ‘thief’.
The year has long since passed and the spiral requested that he be always to become a member of the clan that he'd come to care for and has come to care for him. It is believed that the main reason for this is because he wishes to mate and court Cenera, the Fae that saved him, but he has yet to work up the courage.
