Estel is the hatchlings beloved caretaker, and while she seems sweet and cuddly, she's been trained ruthlessly to protect them at any and all costs. She has more than happily become the clan's 'Auntie', and is trusted by many. Whenever a new clutch is hatched, she's often offering for the hatchlings parents to go and stretch their wings while she would sit the nest for them. Most happily take her up on this, and leave her for hours at a time crooning sweetly to the eggs.
Accidents, of course, do seems to crop up every so often. An egg mysteriously leaves the nest, with poor heart broken Estel in tears. After the most recent incident, some have begun to suspect her of doing something. But who would accuse the one who has several dragons devoted to her? Oh, being the clan Auntie is really a fine thing...

Recently, Estels skin has started to crack and peel, coming off in painful flakes and leaving the bone around her head irritated and red. Further down, boils seem to crop up, as well as a rash that never seems to clear up, though Estel insists it dosent bother her.
With her new appearance, many of the new hatchlings have started to fear the spiral, though the other clanmates attempts to reassure them she's not nearly as scary as she looks. Rivendeel has taken to spending more time with the spiral, and has confided in Caethil that she thinks Estel is up to something. With new rivalry brings new trials, and no matter what you believe about Estel, it is clear the two will come to blows.
