Personality and Backstory:
Once upon a time, Serena was a happy hatchling. She and her siblings loved to fool around near the lair, laughing and playing. As she grew older, however, Serena began to envy her parents for their relationship that held so much love. Her siblings each met mates to call their own, but Serena was left alone. She slowly began to withdraw within herself, isolating herself from her siblings, parents, and clanmates. Her mother's grief at the disappearance of Amaranthine and Tandare was the last straw for the once-joyful Fae dragon. Would anyone grieve like that if Serena disappeared? She screeched at her parents, calling their love pitiful, stupid, and foolish. With those words, she locked herself away tightly in the corner of the clan's lair, pushing away anyone who came to console her. That is... until she met the persistent Ridgeback dragon that would become her mate, Fei. He would visit her every day, pushing at her to open up, until he could finally make her smile and laugh like she had once done as a hatchling. Though Serena is now a happier dragon, most dragons of the clan only remember her as her past self. Thus, she still remains aloof, distant, and slightly cold towards members of the clan other than her mate.
