Brighteyes
Guardian of the Lair


Brighteyes loves stripes. She loves stripes a lot .

She also loves her sisters Fluffpelt and Skyspot, her adoptive mother Astra and is willing to tolerate the other dragons in the Summerbreeze Lair, because you cannot have a lair without dragons in it.

She does not love to fight, but she is still commonly regarded as the best warrior in the lair. (Astra's lifetime of combat experience might, might give her an edge, but those two never bothered to find out.)

And it is good Brighteyes fights so well: Her charge is the safety of the lair, and she takes it very seriously. She patrols the sleeping and breeding grounds, keeps track of the dragons coming and going and of the problems the dragons might have. And what Brighteyes knows, Astra knows too. There are no secrets between those two.

A summer ago, Astra declared Brighteyes to be her Second in Command.
