Nightsail's suggested phys-brawler build: +2 Quick per level on average, and dump all the rest of the points into Strength. (Don't worry about Vit; at level 25 with only 12 Vit, a dragon will have 990 HP!) Don't worry about having a few unused points after distribution; they will carry over to the next level-up!
Final suggested build: at least 44-53 Quick (53 including 3x Berserker Stones) and hopefully 113+ Strength (128+ with 3X Berserksers).
Final suggested Battle Stones: Scratch / Eliminate, Rally, Sap, Haste / 3x Berserkers / 2x Ambushes.
Good brawling strategy: Haste and/or Rally, Scratch, Scratch, Scratch until 35+ Breath, then Rally, Scratch, Eliminate, or Haste, Scratch, Scratch, Eliminate. A rule of thumb: If a Scratch would take off a full third (or more!) of an enemy's (remaining) HP, then one Eliminate should kill it!

(Note on Mage (healer) builds: Follow the above guidelines, but dump points into Int, not Str! Suggested stones by level 25: Meditate, 3x Scholars, and 2x Disciplines, with any combination of: Contuse, Aid, Regeneration, Rally, Haste... possibly Concentration. Contuse is a non-elemental attack which lessens the enemy's Str stat temporarily, so if they have any attack, this is a good, helpful one! :) Aid is better for shorter battles; Regeneration works a little better for longer battles. Battles may be shorter, at level 25, than not!)
