Hortensie was born in Clan Oakheart and studied bees and beekeeping with their resident master, Honey. She eventually traveled to the allied Singing Stone Clan to manage and care for their apiary. She still has a lot to learn, but always does her best! Some day she hopes to be as renowned an apiarist as her master!

Being one of the newest and youngest members of the clan, she often feels as though she doesn't quite fit in. She writes letters to her parents regularly and visits her old clan whenever possible. Her favorite memento is a Gladekeeper Sackdoll which reminds her of her family. She can't go to sleep at night if it isn't nearby.

Liederkreis is devout follower of the Church of Leafianity. She was attracted to Leafianity because of its affinity for bees and nature. She occasionally delivers spare honey and bees to SirSynthesis as a sign of respect and admiration.
