What remains of a colorful Skydancer statue, gracefully deteriorating.
Something about this dragon seems familiar...

An intricate painting of a twilit sky is depicted on the statue's wings and the paint still smells fresh; sparkles litter the ground and leave a glimmering path out of the ruined city.

Upon closer inspection, you notice a plaque with words engraved into the stone:
" The flightless high-priestess known as Nozie, often went by "Rosebringer". Lead a clan with wisdom and took many a dragon under her wing. Will always be remembered in our hearts, the loss of you will not be forgotten. "

Despite this statement, the statue was overgrown with foliage and coated with debris, but gripped in the statue's fragile claws is a small scroll. The canvas is old, yellowed, and wrapped in a matted pale cloth bow. After delicately slipping it out and unrolling it, it is obvious the weather has taken quite a toll on it, yet the words are still legible.
As you read it the noisy woods around you seem to go silent:

"I'm not ready to let you go, my dearest flower. I hope you find joy where-ever you go and please know that I'll always love you. I'll be joining you shortly, so do not fear if you are alone.

Yours only,

Lin."

Looking to the right after reading, you take notice of the other sculpture, not in any better condition than the first.
A stiff, chilly breeze interrupts your observations.
