Amethyst

Amethyst has returned from the Ice Nesting Grounds. His temporary mate left to go on traveling and he felt nothing about that for he has no feelings at all towards her. What he has always wanted was to have offspring's of his own. He felt such joy at seeing them hatch from their eggs. The first to break through the shell was his daughter and a few minutes later his son managed to break the shell. He will never forget the feeling he had felt when seeing his children hatch and how much joy he had felt seeing them. His daughter born a Guardian while his son born a Fae. The first word his daughter spoke was "Protect" while the first word his son spoke was "Papa". Both of their first words filled him with such joy almost bringing him to tears.

His son Azurite decided later on in life to serve the Tidelord. Later on his daughter Nephrite chose to serve the Arcanist. Nephrite left behind her daughter Warlock whom she trained fully before going off to serve (Nephrite's son: Necromancer had decided to go forth and travel around in search for his purpose in life).

His daughter Lavender left to find her purpose and so far she appears to be happy. His daughter Beloved decided to stay here, but later on she too also left. At a young age Shadow decided to serve the Arcanist. His son Storm after a while left home too. All of his children are gone, but they still remain in his heart.

However on June 10th he was suprised when his grandchild Violet (Storm's Son) showed up and it seems he was inspired by his father's words. Amethyst's eyes started to tear up a bit and he hugged his grandchild promising to teach him everything.

Amethyst normally avoids the familiar section of the Auction House. In fact he normally avoids it all together, but one night decided to go there after losing a bet. He had planned to just briefly look and then go back home, but then a male harpy caught his eye.

The harpy was in a cage, all chained up, and Amethyst felt pity towards the poor creature. He walked towards the cage. All kinds of bids going on: Some dragons sounding very excited.

The guardian dragon was getting a head ache not to mention wanting this to be done and over with so the harpy will be free from the cage. His ears had caught a few dragons mentioning about keeping the harpy in chains to keep him from possibly fleeing.

Amethyst roared a very high bid. There was silence and he handed over the gems. The dragon selling the harpy mentioned "He is the Prince of Harpy's". To be honest he couldn't care any less and used his fire to break the chains.

"Be free little harpy return to your home. Stay with your warriors and be protected for males are rare among the harpies." Amethyst commented calmly before turning his back and prepared to flew off, but then the harpy clung to him. "...Don't you want to go home?"

"...I am tired of always being protected, watched, and...having no freedom." Stonewatch Prince informed him. "You seem nice. Want to go with you."

"My name is Amethyst. I'm always willing to help those who truly wish to learn how to fight, defend, and protect." He informed him. "Now then what is your true name otherwise I will keep on calling you Stonewatch for at home there is a dragon and his name is Prince."

After the harpy was rested and had some food the training started. Amethyst transformed into a human-like form. He was hugged tightly and seems like this won't be too difficult for this Prince has the strength, but just needs some help and guidance to help reach his full potential.

"You look so cute and wasn't expecting this at all." The harpy commented and Amethyst ignored the slight burning on his cheeks. He broke free of the grip from the harpy Prince.

"Don't you think you ought to wear a shirt though?" Stonewatch Prince said to him.

"You don't wear one so you really have no say in the matter. With combat the less clothing the better. Less to weigh down." Amethyst stated firmly and he crosses his arms. "I very rarely turn into this form in fact you are the only one to see me as this....I stay as my true dragon self most of the time. I do not fight in this form. Only doing this so I can properly teach you...and don't by mistake end up hurting you too badly."

"I never thought that I would ever feel distracted." The harpy muttered. Amethyst pushed him down and looked down at him.

"Focus on fighting and nothing else. After all don't you want to learn how to fight, defend, and protect?" Amethyst asked coldly. "If you are not serious then forget about this then go find someone else."

"Yes, I want to learn. I was a bit thrown off by your appearance. How can I not be shocked? Your roar was loud and mighty." The harpy replied and he looks up at him. "I'm sorry."

"No need for the sorry's just try your best." Amethyst said as he helped him up. "This is why I do not show anyone this kind of form...Now then let's start with the basics."

The Harpy Prince slowly learned how to fight and with each passing night becoming better.
