Biography
  Hakuryuu Clan role: clan leader | monarch The largest dragon of this lair, haku proudly rules our lair with great justice and honor. he often lays in the main chamber and watches his people go about their various daily activities, scurrying around the lair and living out their lives. they say one day he just rose up from the ocean and slammed into the shores cliffside, carving out the cave our clan now calls home. he welcomes newcomers under his wing and serves as their ruler and protector Mate of hakuryuu: none-he is a lonely panda  art by fallowtail |

 If it wern't for the young straglers who stuck by his side, this clan would never have become what it is today. He absolutely treasures all of those who have joined our humble lair and views them all with much fondness down to pretty much each and every last one. they are his family and he would protect them all with his very life if the time came to it. There are a few here who call him the shoal king and refer to themselves as his guppies. he's recently developed feelings for elven, our lairs captain of the royal guard. nothing yet has become of that though, as haku turns into too much of a stuttering mess when she's around and can't get the words out to say he likes her.

Haku was a sheltered child, raised in the shadow of his father. His father was a powerful merchant who had claim over a lot of land and of course, all of that lands resources. Their family had many ties with other clans, shipping them raw goods such as sugar and carefully brewed wines over seas, and was very well respected. There was a great deal of pressure put onto the children of such a family to step up and one day inherit the business, and one of them was haku. He was brought up in a mansion surrounded with private tutors and servants that waited on him, constantly being pressured to act in a dignified manner. He rarely got to see his parents, they were always too busy for him. His best memories were of being outside with his mother when he was very young, out near their gazebo. She would watch him as he played in the grass and brought her flowers for her to weave into a crown with her gentle paws. Those were the only times he was allowed to run around and be free. The times where nobody told him off for rolling in the dirt and getting twigs in his mane. Although none of his strict upbringing could prepare him for what happened. Being such a large influential family, managed to lure in some great enemies. and out of many, one pearl stood out. Also a leader, but of a band of roguish pirates, haku was unaware of his families rivalry with their group. Their families ships were always under attack by those pirate scoundrels, who would slaughter their way through the crew to get their claws on the ships precious cargo and sometimes even the ship itself. Their leader however only wanted more power. why go for the ships pickings if you can seize the very source of the goods? They attacked the mansion, providing no mercy to the innocent inside, they fought their way to claim haku's fathers land. haku had no idea what was happening. lost in shock and confusion, he ran, and fled down to the one place he thought they wouldn't be able to easily chase. The ocean. He swam far, terrified of being followed and targeted like his other family members were, unknowing if and of them had made it out alive. When he finally reached new land, he crawled up onto the sand, wedged himself back behind some rocks and burrowed into the ground in a desperate attempt to hide himself. memories of seeing people he had grown up with being murdered in cold blood right before his eyes plagued him that night. and for a long while he was scared to surface from his hidey-hole, knowing the pirates could still be out looking for his family to turn them into slaves or to publicly execute to show off their triumph after days past, he finally had the courage to resurface and figure out where he was going to go from there. all he knew was, he couldn't return to his home after what had happened. If anyone from the mansion had survived he would come to learn in time but now he needed to focus simply on his own survival. It was from there he began to meet dragons from the area and they ended up banding together by his side and taking him as their leader, turning his little getaway hole into a chamber for them to live. And thus the lair ended up growing onto what it is today |
