Cecylia

Cecylia comes from a small lair in the Frigid Floes, and after hearing stories of his homeland in the Tangled Wood from her father, she was determined to visit the place, but she required a guide. She joined a group of snappers on their path to slowly meander with them and make her way to the Wood. In the Wood she chased faeries in the Grove and munched mushrooms around a fire with a smaller troupe of dragons performers there. She met up with the friendly snappers she had traveled with before and followed them on their roundabout path, expecting to follow them back to her home. They stopped in Dragon home, where she met Hopcyn. He told her tales of the Archives he collected stories for. She wanted to check the place out, and separated from her friends to follow him.

In the long halls of books and artifacts, Cecylia found a home, though she could not read the dragons she met there were fascinating, and the travelling collectors of both artifacts and tales were more than happy to relay stories of their travels to her. She was also quite pleased with the cold temperatures the library was kept at, though she was always curious as to why, which is when she met Skrift. She was sniffing about the History section, when the skydancer encountered her. She didn't recognize his scent and greeted him. Through a bit of discussion of his work in the library, and his questioning of whether or not she'd read any of his transcriptions the skydancer discovered she was blind.

As a tundra she used her nose to sniff about, but he was appalled, she was surrounded by books! And couldn't read any of them! He sat her down once a day to read her stories. Eventually the two got to speaking of things other than books, their mutual love and homesickness for the Icefields, his frustration with Hale, her love of the snappers stories, the long discussions eventually saw the two nesting together as mates. He still reads her tales every night, and in return she warms him up at the end of a long, cold, day of work. Her favorite stories, and the ones he reads her most frequently are the mystery novels. She always tries to guess the ending before he reads the final pages. He even tolerates her irritating familiar that is constantly buried beneath her copious fluff, though it quite frequently steals his spectacles in the night.
