Biography

No one invited the vain Coatl into the clan. He sits and claims to be the beauty and essence of civilization - brought to the clan as a miracle. Or so Carosh claims but he claims many things, such as being humble and patient.

He dons many different skins and accents to enhanced his looks, though also removing the thought he is a Light dragon at first glance. Some say this is a inferiority showing, that he deems himself unworthy without accessories. To those, Carosh scoffs and calls them plebeians. They do not understand art and he - as all should know - was a walking piece of art.

No one quite can tell if his speech is insulting or a very subtle praise for if Carosh has done anything, it's twist his words carefully so none could argue he started the argument. If any skill were as useful among short-tempered warriors it was that.

He was the rarer, the stunning coatl with grace. The clan half-heartedly allowed him to stay, no one is quite sure how he wasn't maimed when he told the Wildclaws they needed to bathe more.

Blood did horrible things to their scales.

And yet the oddest of all of Carosh's acquaintances was Eita the Fae, one of the common breeds. She claimed to be uninterested in Carosh's beauty, for she wanted to raise strong children, not statues of vanity. Carosh was displeased. He was not ignored.

But time continued on and more of that time was spent trying to have the Fae understand. She could never hope to have strong children for she was a Fae. Fae were common and in turn could do nothing noteworthy. Her fate, her lineage had lead her to breeding on mass, children to be worth less than Carosh's own. For his children would be worth more - he was a Rare breed. She needed to understand this. He was being kind, compassionate allowing her this knowledge.

Eita recanted these opinions, claiming Carosh was beauty and stupidity all rolled into one. Carosh demanded she show evidence.

Evidence in which Eita said did not exist yet. Intrigued, albeit a little confused, Carosh asked what evidence would arise eventually to mar his name.

Prove your worth, disprove mine. If our children are to all die young then you are stupid and I am weak, if they grow strong then I am no weakling and you, no fool.

Carosh agreed and his boasting that the children would be beautiful because, of course, his children would always be beautiful was hammered into everyone's skulls. Traveling merchant or no.

Eita had no retort for that one, though occasionally muttered to Carosh his first clutch was just a fluke.

Carosh is ever eager to prove Eita wrong.

The rest of the clan decided to ignore the strange bonding ritual the Coatl and Fae had. Some guessed it was because of the Rare and Common differences. Others knew Carosh was just very easy to lead despite his passion for looking pretty.

The clan's trouble meant little to him, he still looked good and Eita still had their pretty children. It was fine. It was all fine.
