Novi Orbis
Of the Gladeveins Gang
Novi is a member of the Gladeveins Gang, and the second in command (Consigliere) to the Boss. He is known to be very intelligent and efficient, as well as very deadly. He keeps his inferiors within the Gladeveins Gang in check using intimidation; they may not particularly like him, but they do respect him.
He was formerly mated to Andromeda, and now harbours a grudge against her because of their separation. Although her clan and the Gladeveins Gang have an alliance, Novi secretly desires Andromeda's downfall. He is beginning to plot ways to interrupt her clan's daily activities, underneath the Boss' nose.
Novi's extreme weight is due to the crystallization of his skin. He is unable to fly, and much to the annoyance of those who interact with him, makes crunching and creaking noises wherever he walks. His condition has been slowly worsening over time, which has lead Novi to fear that in his old age he may become completely paralyzed from crystallization. During his relationship with Andromeda, Novi received magical assistance from the Night Sky Clan's resident healer Elysium. However, since the end of Andromeda and Novi's relationship he has not been in contact with Elysium. This is one of the major reasons Novi is incredibly resentful towards his former lover, and is now giving orders to Sokol to pursue a cure for his condition in the field of alchemy.
