Saraiyu

Saraiyu was cursed by a wicked witch as a mere hatchling, for no other reason than spite. Now, cursed flowers grow and move under her hide
and suck the magic and very lifeforce out of beings so unfortunate as to touch them. After her siblings were the first to fall to her curse,
her parents cast her out, for the safety of their remaining offspring and Sarai swore never to let a living being touch her again and to
dedicate her life to protecting others from the misfortunes of magic used against the will of the Eleven.

She wandered for many years, building her fighting skills in tooth and claw. Not many in Sornieth can match her claw for claw. For many
years she neglected the magical arts, until she discovered that, with great effort, she could draw forth some of
the stolen power contained in her skin and use it for her own purposes. This gives her quite an exceptional magical strength, although
every usage leaves her so exhausted she is unable to walk, let alone fly for days afterward. Nevertheless, she is not reluctant to use her
powers for a great cause, as she thinks of it as cleansing the stolen power from the curse's taint.

After many years, she came to Clan Stormsong and here, discovered a cause worthy of lending her wings to. Her forthrightness impressed
Starfire, the Captain of the Heart Guard and she was accepted into their ranks. Although many dragons who know only of the curse and not
of the dragon behind it, still shun and insult her, she has found friends and acceptance here, as she has found nowhere else.
