Even though he spends their days writing down the lives and histories of others, very little is known about Savet’s own history. When asked he merely shrugs and walks off as if he either doesn’t know or doesn’t care to say.

What can be gathered is that he was born in a tiny clan that only consisted of a few raylings. Though why he left and what happened to them is anyone's guess. He just showed up in Clan Silver Wing’s lai one day asking for temporary housing as he passed through. This wish was granted and at first no one believed he was any different from a normal Coatl, aside from their pale coloration. However, Savet quickly showed his intelligence and uncanny ability to remembering events to the tiniest detail. That accompanied with his magical prowess made Saphira extend an invitation to join the clan permanently.

Savet accepted, with one condition, he be allowed to put his archive in an area of his choosing and wouldn’t be disturbed. Saphira agreed and the rest, as they say, is history.
