Banner hails from the Wind domain, where she never felt she quite fit in among the carefree and easygoing children of the Windsinger. It's not that she has a temper, exactly. She's generally very friendly, and others have described her as having a gentle soul. All she wants is to protect others. At the cusp of adulthood, she spent a bit of time in the Plague domain studying the biological effects of different strains of disease, finding herself particularly fascinated with the kinds that gave the victim inexplicable strength. Believing she could isolate the harmful effects of a certain affliction, she injected herself with a concoction of her own making, one that she hoped would lend her the strength she needed to protect those who could not protect themselves.
She got her wish. Banner was gifted with superior physical prowess, but only in the instance that her adrenaline spiked. Unfortunately, she also contracted a side effect that she had not anticipated; during aforementioned adrenaline spike, she doubles in size and her hide turns a garish shade of green. She loses all sense of critical thinking and has little control over her own actions, making it hard to reign in her newfound strength. After an incident where she completely decimated a large clan's lair, Banner decided to flee the Plague domain and continue her research in Dragonhome, where she hoped the stability of the Earth dragons would help ground her and keep her side effects in check. For now, she has settled down in Adeline's clan, where she is allowed to work in peace without the stresses of her homeland or the domain she began her research in. When the clan is threatened, however, Banner has been known to double in size, rampage against the attackers, and bellow incoherently. After all, she only wants to protect the ones she cares about.
