Tesla

Stereotypical lightning name, I know.

Tesla feels and knows that she is seen as simply another of the clan's orphaned Pearlcatchers. She doesn't know how to fix it, and even so she isn't sure she wants to. As of now she stays mostly alone, though sometimes she is pulled into a conversation with Cabbie. Despite the legends, Tesla can't help but like Cabbie, and Imperials as a whole; they are gorgeous creatures, and all of the Imps in the clan are so nice...

That being said, Tesla does mostly keep to herself. She is a bit reserved, but not so much so that she would turn down a conversation. She is simply a timid, passive gal, and the other dragons accept that. More often than not she can be seen talking to her pearl or to her familiar, though neither typically responds.

During the 2015 Flameforger's Festival, Kairavi chose Tesla to retrieve glowing embers and go to the Festival Favors stand. Baffled and flattered that she was asked, Tesla took to the skies with her Lightning Lancer. They collected enough embers (with help from a very small Wind flight clan) to go to the stand and receive a Molten Marauder. She came back to the clan and presented her purchase to Kairavi, asking who the Marauder would belong to. Kairavi smiled warmly and told her to chose someone from the clan to give the familiar. Startled by her statement, Tesla nodded and went off in search of someone she could give the familiar to. Then she spotted Min. The Imperial make was stretched out on a large rock, keeping himself warm. She knew he was originally a Fire flight dragon, so she decided we would be the perfect recipient. She also has a crush on him, so that probably helped her decide. He warmly (get it? Fire?) accepted the Molten Marauder from her, and after that the two of them had a long and casual conversation, getting to know one another better. Tesla is fairly sure she left that evening with promises of a future meeting, and she nervously awaits the day he may call for her presence.
