Phelonious was to be clan Patriarch. Then Phel's son, Phury, found Aulon, and Tohr's decision changed... Naturally Tohr decided Phel need some kind of authority over the clan so he appointed him second in command. Now, all Phel truly does is listen and take orders from Aulon. Though he hates his duties, Phel cannot back down from his position and disgrace Tohr in such a manner. His mate Brioche is what keeps him standing tall and still sane. At first Phel was angered with his son for finding Aulon, but Phury was just doing the right thing. How was he to know that Aulon would take his fathers place?
