Kikita

Gifted with the ability to create anything from nothing, Kikita has been building both useful and useless gadgets, trinkets, and automatons since hatching. Despite being shaped by her clan from birth to be the next Tempest Queen of Voltspire, Kikita has not had an easy life. Upon transferring to Voltspire, she found the clan to be unendingly demanding and disciplined to the point of excess, though she found it difficult to fault them their hard work. Despite many of the clan being friendly to her, their workaholic natures made them view her clever trinkets as oddities and that her time could be well spent elsewhere.The only dragon to support her endeavors was Tempest Queen Nazcal, and with her passing, Kikita found herself oddly alone in a spire of hundreds.

Xanatos, the new Squall and unfortunately her betrothed, has repeatedly tried to turn Kikita's focus to the creeper automatons the clan is known for, but the tinker quickly grew bored of mass produced stock. She sees no brilliance in it, no heart, and thinks the clan's sight has been set on a heartless path by their Squall. Rumors run amok that many in the clan agree with her and even see her as a guiding light to mutiny, but fear keeps their dissension to a minimum.

Kikita’s viewpoint is not at all welcomed by the Squall and to further quell any potential uprising, he has quietly locked her away in her tinker shop until he can contrive a way to align Kikita's views more closely to his own, and to keep her demands for change from rallying the clan to rebellion.

Despite her current isolation, Kikita retains a curious, upbeat personality. Whenever someone visits, she shows them her newest trinkets with unending excitement, even when that visitor is her captor. It's easy for her to smile and preen at Xanatos when the trinkets she shows him are just pieces of a greater project that, once assembled, will be the young King's undoing.
