Born into the Reedcleft Ascent Mafia as the grandson of the Capofamiglia, the young Imperial found his family life to be very colorful from the beginning. The family specializes in organized crime and no member is excluded from it except for the rare exception. Growing up in such an environment means becoming adaptable or being left behind. Given that he wanted to impress his grandfather and earn a good place among the ranks, the tiny Imp thought to make himself the best he could in being adaptable but hopefully not expendable.

Though he tried to show his passion for the art of blackmail and crime, the Wind-born Imp found that he had a better affinity for Water magic. Frustrated with this, he sought out a witch doctor of a clan nearby, but ultimately drowned them when learning there was no way to increase his prowess in Wind magic. Disgusted with himself for having the wrong magic and for botching up his visit elsewhere, he chose to flee the scene and head off into the Windswept Plateau. For a time it was difficult, trying to find a way to keep others from telling where he was that wouldn't leave a trail of dead dragons behind him.

In time he stumbled into the lands of the Passus Canorous, and though he was considered odd, Aigean was welcomed into the clan. Currently he holds the clan's position for a wizard, living off on the edge of the troupe's lands without much concern. The only dragon brave enough to spend more than an hour with him is his mate, Glaw. Whether she knows of his past is uncertain, but it's certainly apparent she doesn't care.

Though Aigean's grandfather is proud of him, he's still ordered others of the family to hunt him down... After all, you don't just leave the Family.
