Personality Screech is ruthless and cutthroat. She cares deeply for her mate, Ifri, and her two adopted children, Grove and Shock, but she truthfully cares very little for others. She has a reasonable relationship with the third member of their coliseum fighting party and has varying levels of respect or friendly feelings towards some members of the Clan, but she wouldn't even look back if the whole Clan went up in flames and she left with Ifri and Grove. Ifri believes she is kinder because she tries to appear so to others, but in truth it's a ruse designed to keep her from appearing as a threat. She would hate to leave the Clan, so she refuses to give others an excuse to not trust her. While she has no qualms in bringing negative attention to others, she views the distrust of Akar as unfair and has been known to defend him and his hobbies. Perhaps this is a sign that she has some form of compassion for other dragons. History Screech had an average life up until her parents both died of disease. She blamed herself because she had just come out to them as bi, and she thought that was her punishment. After that, she cursed the plaguebringer and turned to life as an assassin for treasure. She convinced Ifri to join her cause after she attacked her, thinking she was a witness to a kill she had done. When they both gave up life as assassins, she had less trouble with it. She doesn't feel very much guilt and relishes her fights in the coliseum. Although she never turned back to being an assassin and plans to stay a coli fighter in the Lightfall Clan permanently, she wouldn't be opposed to returning to that lifestyle if it was necessary. She worships no Gods, but no longer blames or hates the Plaguebringer. If she was forced to worship a god, she would worship the Plaguebringer or Lightweaver. |
