Biography
Promissory is kind and quick to learn the preferences and quirks of other dragons. She acts as main peacekeeper and ambassador for the clan, guiding her mate Bard towards less heavy-handed means of leadership, and most dragons within the clan know her better than they do him. She genuinely cares for and appreciates every clan member, and is well-liked for it. Her kindness has been taken advantage of more than once, but she rarely notices before it is pointed out by someone else.
She does occasionally have trouble with the migratory clan members, her memory, like that of most tundras, simply not being made to accommodate them, but still does her best to relearn what she can about them, and most of them can at least appreciate the effort.
Knowing that her wisdom has its limitations, she is quick to consult other, more suitable dragons should she encounter a situation in which she doesn't know how to proceed, and has no complaint with simply removing herself from a scene so that a better suited dragon may intervene. This has not always been for the best however, as Immitis is quick to manipulate the tundra into agreeing with her own violent methods, and Promissory, convinced that this wildclaw must know better, has allowed her to carry out ghastly punishments in the past.
She is not naturally given to leadership, but has had to tidy up mistakes her mate has made often enough that she is starting to understand what does and doesn't work. She is quickly becoming more suited to the role, and growing more confident in her abilities. It will likely not be long before she relieves her mate of his title.
