Biography
'Momma Combusta', as the younger members of the clan often call her, acts as clan matron as much as Sitala is clan matriarch, and the two of them often clash over their vastly different approaches to dealing with the varied sons and daughters of Delphi.
The duty of attending the nests is a serious one, as Delphi lost many eggs to nest-rot in the early days of the clan, and Combusta takes it seriously but also with a large dose of love. She considers every child born into Delphi as one of her own, and as such, she has more than once tried to hide them away from Sitala to prevent them from being thrown to the merciless wilds of the Scarred Wasteland. More than one of the children who are instead thrown to Rampage's appetite or Pharma's studies have met those fates as Sitala's way of reminding Combusta the order of things.
Currently the matriarch and her guard are enough to stay Combusta from solving the conflict with force, so she has taken to smuggling hatchlings out to other clans as a way of protecting them. In addition to her hatchery duties, Combusta often mentors and protects young dragons brought into the clan until they find their place.
