Plutus
Embodiment of Greed
Self proclaimed deity

Worshiped Idol and leader of small cult

Plutus, the imposing golden Imperial is always surrounded by followers, and never not seen being fawned upon by others. With a wave of his paw, his ardent followers give him gold that he sits upon, his hide rippling with the same color of his hoard. In return, he blesses them and sends them on his way. He often organizes little ‘ceremonies’ where he throws some gold around to bless his followers with endless riches, and after the ceremonies when they flock to him, trying to tell him how much they’ve earned due to his blessing.

Little do these followers know that Plutus is a sham, who uses honeyed words and false rituals to sway them to his cause and feed not just his hoard, but also his enormous ego. The gold he throws around are worthless fools’ gold which he claims he has blessed, and in the background as his followers flock to him, he snickers and mocks them mercilessly in private for their blindness and stupidity.

In his eyes, little matters beyond the gold he sits on, as well as himself. The entitled Imperial is almost never not seen preening in front of the mirror, adorning himself with more gold to make himself appear more regal and larger than he actually is. Besides, Plutus has never needed to do a thing- his followers have all had it covered for him. A shrine of gold? Check. An endless supply of food and water? Check. The imposing Imperial barely has to lift a claw to have someone scuttling to work, and it only takes a minor threat of a dragon ’never getting to earn a single cent again’ to cow them into submission. As long as the greed of dragons exist, Plutus will remain, unmoving and somehow, revered nonetheless.
