"Oh.. yes.. I'm busy right now."

Violet, librarian of the Clan of the Arcane Storm. She's well known for her knowledge- even if it takes forever to get to the interesting part (you didn't hear that from me, though). Violet is a beloved member of the Clan, and will welcome you to her lair with a warm smile and a cup of tea.

The library certainly wasn't what you imagined it to be.
Feather said it was grand, beautiful, the pinnacle of knowledge. But instead of a place of wonder, his directions lead you to a musty, gloomy, creaking room. You could tell it was a library by the shelves of books and the empty librarian desk.

Deciding the place was empty, you walked through the halls, looking at the books. There certainly was a lot, and they seemed to be in good care, unlike the rest of the room. With the darkness only broken by dim candlelight, it was hard to read the titles.

"Hello."

You spun around, startled. Behind you was a Nocturne partially hidden by the darkness, green eyes shining. She smiled at you, and your shock wore off. "Who are you?" You asked, still wary.
"I'm Violet, the librarian." She bowed her head, and you could see cobwebs on her horns. "My apologies for not greeting you, I was distracted. Looking for something?"

Violet. Yes, Feather told you that was her name. You relaxed, thinking of what to say. "Well.. I've been interested on reading more on your Clan. Do you have any books on that?" She nodded before you even finished, walking past you.

You walked down a few halls, the room growing darker the further in you went. But when Violet stopped, the shelf in front of her was fully lit, like a beacon in the darkness. There were huge books with the Clan's name, all with different years. Some were worn, others brand new.

"You can't bring these books out with you, but feel free to read them here." With that, the Nocturne nodded and walked away.

Violet is a shy and reclusive dragon, often hiding away in her lair. She hardly goes outside, and if she does, it's for an important festival or during the nighttime. The quiet, soothing darkness is the time when she likes hanging out with her fellow Nocturne friends, CrystalClear and Fruity.

When entering Violet's lair, you might not notice her- she'll probably be hiding somewhere in the dark. But once you say hi, she's willing to help you in any way possible. She's a calm dragon, and is easy to get along with. She prefers silence, preferring reading by candlelight to a loud celebration. Certain sounds agitate her, and when big events happen she'll hide herself away elsewhere, preferably with a friend.

Despite her generally relaxed lifestyle, Violet is often busy with a schedule she can't change. She'll spend more hours than she should getting ready for the next day, causing her to be slower in the morning. Surprises stress her out, and she refuses to do something with other dragons if it's not a few days away, so that she can fix her schedule. She has confidence in her work and an optimistic outlook, and generally believes she can do anything. She won't let what could happen get in her way.

As librarian, Violet knows everything there is to know about books. She has read everything in her library and immediately starts reading new arrivals. She hates giving out spoilers, and won't answer questions unless the dragon absolutely wants to know. She's a bit infamous for keeping the books she really loves, meaning there might be a few missing from the shelves unless she has duplicates. While this annoys guests, many dragons inside the Clan find her love for the books inspiring. It must be a good read!

An old wolf with a bad past. He's not exactly friendly, and stays in less visited sections of the library. He's overly protective of Violet and her family, and follows her around until the day begins.
He's slowly going blind and relies more on his nose. Don't mention it to him- it makes him even more grumpy.

Violet and Marx are very devoted to each other, despite the silence when they are together. They don't need words- they spend all of their free time together, and many young dragons stick their tongues out at the sappy romance.

Bleddyn

Bleddyn and Violet hardly get along. He's loud and boisterous where she's quiet and reserved. In spite of their many fights, Violet supports her son and wants him to achieve his dreams. She's just worried that he isn't thinking of how to get there.

Fruity
friend

Fruity was the first dragon Violet met when she joined the Clan. She convinced the shy Violet to leave the hatchling lair, and the other Nocturne continues to help her friend be brave. The two talk often, and are absolutely honest with each other.
