Adha was about as unusual as you got when it came to dragons. She wasn’t exactly the regular sort of Imperial, with her metal exoskeleton and the ability to recall anything and everything in terms of prophecies and knowledge. She wasn’t exactly a natural born dragon – she was an experiment put together with the contribution of three gods; Flamecaller, Tidelord and Stormcatcher. From the loyalist clan of the Flamecaller – her parents had willingly given up her egg to their deity who required an egg with the strongest genes from her strongest clan. Stormcatcher had been the one to gently imbue her with his technology inside her egg and provide the electronics to power the data chip in her skull. Tidelord had simply blessed the data chip with his knowledge of prophecies and foresight – supposedly giving Adha the ability to receive prophecies of the future.

However, like all experiments, not everything always went exactly as planned. No one is quite sure why – but the circuitry faulted somewhere. She wasn’t much of an oracle but like an encyclopaedia of history and knowledge. Her creators theorised perhaps it was the work of the Stormcatcher - his work on her far more influencing than the others – and instead of allowing her to see prophecies, it allowed her to view both the past and future like open books.

Despite their failure, her creators still took pride in what they had created in her – one failure in a long line of oracles that could be successful and ones that the gods had fashioned themselves. But the pride was short-lived, they soon moved on to other things.

Adha was mostly ignored by the gods then - to the point her parents and clan shared the same sentiment. The clan tried to kick her out but she managed to convince them to let her stay a while - then she would leave as the clans biggest failure. All she wanted was to gain some control over how to use the database - then she could leave without burden. She convinced them that she could be useful to them with all the knowledge she had access to.

After several years she managed to be able to have precise control over the flow of information from her database - that was when she left. After all the threats and insults from her former friends and family over the years - she was glad to finally be out of there. She hoped to find a new home would accept her for who she was and not see her as a disgusting and shameful failure. She travelled to quite a few different clans and helped out, but none of them seemed quite right to her.

At one point she even tried to use her database to try find herself a place to settle – it couldn’t give her something exact but it gave her the locations of clans that had stood for ages. She had it in her mind they would be more tolerant of a dragon like herself but that wasn’t entirely the case. They seemed to be rooted in traditional and shunned her for the fact she was part technology. The air in them was hostile towards her. So she moved on once again.

On her travels to find a true home, she came across The Shrouded. She had been greeted with hostility initially – growling dragons that were wary of her. But she had told them her story (as she did with each clan she had come) and they soon welcomed her in with open arms. She got settled and she felt relief to have a decent place to rest.

She hung around for a few days and decided to say – she even willingly gave the clan leaders an offer; access to her powers. She sometimes sat with the clans scribe and fed them information and slowly filled up the clan’s library. She had found a happy home here – especially one with lots of strange dragons and no one batted an eye at the fact she had an exoskeleton. Which was what she really appreciated the most – a place where she could walk around and not be seen as a freak.

In the course of her time in the clan, she had found herself interested in dragon – Altair. He had already been mated to another dragon but they ended up in a polyamorous relationship. The three of them had been content – and more so when another dragon was added to their relationship – Rauf. Now Adha was truly content with the three mates she would equally; Altair, Desso and Rauf and nothing would separate them.
