You only catch a glimpse of Wander and Roam, shortly before they leave. They are always travelling, Lane tells you. But they always come back.

He tells you that the two came together - Roam practically dragging Wander behind her and begging for assistance. Moss did everything she could, but, ultimately, nothing could be done to save his sight. That is why he wears the mask, he says.

You ask if that means Wander is blind, and Lane looks confused. Oh, no, he says, his fins tilted just slightly, why would it mean that? You aren't sure what else it could mean, but Lane is not willing to share any more.
