Biography

In the early days of the clan, very soon after he had joined, he was approached by one of the clan's founders. Hovering in front of his nose, the little fae asked, "You like familiars, right? I mean, everybody likes familiars, but you're, like, into taking care of them, figuring out what they eat, things like that, right?"

"Actually, yes. It's a bit of a hobby of mine." This was, in fact, an understatement--he was mildly fixated on ensuring not only his own familiar but the familiars of the entire clan were as neatly groomed and in as fine a condition as possible. After all, the familiar reflects the self, and a shabby familiar said nothing good about a dragon.

"Great! So you wouldn't mind keeping an eye on the extra familiars, then, would you?" The fae hastily added, flicking his headfins shiftily, "There wouldn't be too many, I don't think. It would be a nice project to do in your free time!"

Xuanzong agreed. Two hundred familiars later, he was starting to regret that decision.

New clan members and hatchlings often meet him for the first time when he unceremoniously shoves a familiar into their talons with a hiss of "Take care of her or I will find you" (or, in the case of small dragons or large familiars, picks them up and drops them in the familiar's talons).

Despite this, he loves all his little kidlets, and spends considerable time picking the perfect familiar for each new clan member and visitor that crosses his path.
