Booflesnoot joined Tulip when he was only a hatchling after getting separated from his parents on the tundra of the ice fields. He was raised by Tulip and Fern and through Fern gained a love of the Tangled Wood and all thing shadow. For a time he was a baby of the group, and beloved by all members and it was such that he gained his loyal familiar (a gift from Rainagon) and his prestigious armour (gathered by many members of his group).

As he grew he became a fierce-looking dragon, always with his thorny bear and clad in armour, but at heart he is as sweet as the honey he uses to lure the insects he hunts.
