Chiei

Unlike most elders of the clan, Chiei is mostly forgotten by the general populace. Keeping to himself as the clan grew, Chiei slowly became obscured by the growing numbers of the clan, The only ones to remember Chiei's existence within the lair's wall are Kor, Mayumi, and Dains, the progenitor family of the clan. Chiei's one attempt to find a mate, Kima, ended in her leaving him for another skydancer, and Chiei hiding himself away in his private lair. Only Mayumi and Kor have had contact with him since.

While effectively a hermit, he still performs his share of work as a mechanic. Traveling the maintenance paths between shifts, he navigates the clan unseen by most. Those who spot him only get a glimpse before he ducks out of sight, and those who attempt to pursue him are buffeted by strong wind produced by a hiding Hurricane Herald. With his constant attempts to remain unseen, Chiei has become like a cryptid for the clan, spawning many a rumor and theory.
