Biography
Royale came from the same clan as Astren, though that certainly hadn't been her intention at first. But when she had heard the news that the stars could be seen from that specific spot in the Shadow territories, there had been no stopping her. Though she hasn't had a reason to regret her decision, she knows there are things lurking around the clearing of the lair.
Abaddon refuses to tell her more than she already knows, although he insist she constantly be attended by the Bramblekeep familiar he found for her. That and the Shady Sash were gifts from the Pearlcatcher who spends most of his time away from the lair. Royale doesn't mind much, though she wished he wouldn't keep her inside when the full moon rises. Belial and Pearline aren't inclined to let her out either, muttering things about keeping her safe. All she wants to do is see the full moon. The clearing is beautiful when bathed in the light of the stars. If only she could view the beauty every night.
She spends a lot of her time chatting with Pearline, Malphas and occasionally with Lilith, though the latter isn't fond of too many questions. Their love for the unearthly light cast by the glowshrooms does pull their friendship together in the most unlikely of ways.
Royale's fondest wish is to draw a map of all the constellations and have it displayed on the clearing. Abaddon spends the time when he isn't away helping her with measurements and placing caught butterflies and fireflies in jars in the necessary spots.
