Bronntanas
The Musketeer

Character: Bronntanas is a real knight among the dragons - noble, royally generous and brave. Though sometimes he may seem too naive. He himself prefers the title of "musketeer". Why? Oh, it's a very unusual story.

Biography: Bronntanas was found as a young hatchling by the Leader's wife, Hel. But not the fact he was abandoned by nocturnes (who actually love their children very much) surprised Hel the Necromancer most of all. Oh, no. The most stunning was the place Bronntanas was found at. He was dwelling inside... his own familiar! Ectoplasmime Boe had not only refused to devour a small kid but actually let him live in, warming the hatchling up and talking to him somehow, in his own language. The familiar even tried to attack Hel, defending a tiny nocturne. But Hel had calmed him down, the first time in her life talking to the familiar as if to a dragon. She said she means no harm and wants to take the kid to a place, lighter and warmer than the ancient deserted mansion they were living in.

Boe agreed, letting the baby to climb out. The tiny nocturne turned out to be a very playful, brightly colored creature with sharp mind and nice reflexes. The only obstacle for him to run around like a small chariot was a huge cavalier hat he refused to take off. Boe managed to explain that this hat was the property of his previous owner - a long gone musketeer dragon. Bronntanas had been listening to the stories about this musketeer for so long that - as any child - he began dreamimg of becoming one.

This dream has come true in the Clan of Fiorgynn.

Name Meaning: Bronntanas stands for "The Gift" in Ancient Irish. Very suitable, don't you think?
