Biography
Issle has always been a quiet and shrewd dragon. She can gain a lot of information about a dragon just by observing him for a few hours. She is a master of manipulation and almost always gets her way. But she was forced from her birth clan when she was caught plotting with the Matriarch’s own mate to overthrow her.
She survived in the Scarred Wastelands by her cunning and intelligence alone. She was not strong enough to fight, so she traveled only at night, staying in the deepest shadows. She followed herds of grazing animals to the best food sources. Predators left her alone in favor of the much easier prey. She was also able to follow hunting dragons back to their lairs to steal even more supplies.
But it was a poor way to live, and she eventually decided that she should try to find her own territory, perhaps even join a small clan. It was with this goal in mind that she ended up meeting Fergun, another loner like herself. They decided it would be prudent for them to pair up. His strength and her intelligence complimented each other and made them a great pair. After a few months Issle discovered that Fergun had feelings for her, and realized that she also had feeling for him.
Fergun decided to conquer and nearby clan in order to provide a safe and stable home for the both of them. Issle did her part by spying on the clan and providing valuable information that aided him in taking down the leader. Now that he leads the clan, Issle keeps her eyes and ears on the clan members to make sure there is no dissent and quickly quells any hint of insurrection. She also spies on neighboring clans and passes on intelligence to help Fergun plan his campaigns against them.
Fergun may be the active leader of the clan, but Issle has plenty of power. But she prefers to run things from the shadows, not showing her hand, but influencing events nonetheless. She rarely leaves Fergun’s side, unless it is to gather information that will help their clan grow stronger.
