History
Darkwood was once a part of Arcturus' original band of pirates. He had joined when he was fairly young and looked up to his leader with great admiration. Being the only fae in the band, he was an asset among his fellow dragons.
When the band was ambushed by a group of dragons intent on taking care of the pirates, Darkwood made good use of his small size and dark colouration. He squeezed himself into a hole in the cave wall, escaping detection. He didn't emerge until many hours later, when he felt it was safe. He was met with a gruesome sight, but noticed his leader was nowhere to be found. Concluding that his leader had escaped harm, he set out to find him. Although it took some time, Darkwood eventually found the reef coloured ridgeback among dragons of the Wind Flight..
