As you begin to introduce yourself to the guardian before you, she interrupts you. We have already met. She says this with such a matter-of-fact tone, you can't help but believe her - but when you two met, you cannot remember. Before you can ask when, she speaks up again. I lead you to the lair. You were in need, so I helped you. Only then do you remember the blue glow that lead you here, and spot the same glow from a lantern hanging on her tail.

You begin to thank her, only to be interrupted a third time. I help those in need. This is my duty to the clan, and nothing more. I require no thanks. Please behave yourself within our walls. Immediately, the guardian turns away from you leaves the lair entirely, presumably to do the same for others that she did for you.

As she leaves, you notice a trail of water following after her. You cannot recall seeing a body of water large enough to swim in nearby, but surely there must be one around. Perhaps you should ask another dragon later.
