❁ STORY
Dribble likes to flounce. Dribble does not walk. Walking is for boring fun sponges. Dribble flounces. He tends to bounce around everywhere, often trailing along behind one dragon or another just because he likes the company. He’s always smiling and is just about the friendliest dragon in the lair. Dribble doesn’t like lying, he doesn’t really understand it, actually. He just wants to be friends and friends don’t lie. So he’s about as honest as a dragon can get. Which is weird for a Shadow native, but he is excellent at pranks and tricks and he just loves a good game. He’s often seen engaging the hatchlings in a game of tag. Inerri's been trying to teach him to read and write and count but he's... not very good at that. Probably doesn't need it anyway. Not to make friends and play games. Even though he's not fond of deception, he's got remarkably sticky fingers. And like Venin, he seems to be able to become one with the shadows whenever he pleases. This sometimes frustrating talent allows him to enter any room he chooses - even locked ones. Much to Pencil's displeasure, this includes the library. Though he generally seems more interested in liberating gold and other valuables from the lairs of others. Which he denies is any sort of wrong. If pressed he'll simply say that he's imitating a Ridgeback that day. He also serves as the lair's designer; typically for his kind, he keeps the lair hidden from plain view. It is the rare dragon that enters Dribble's lair without invitation. In charge of keeping the Reliquary in good repair, Dribble often follows Helix around, cleaning and tidying and rearranging furniture to his liking. Since he's often one of the first dragons to greet guests and new comers, it falls to him to arrange quarters for them. Decorations and lighting, while not strictly speaking a part of his job description, are still things he enjoys dabbling in. Making sure the lair is expanded enough for all to live comfortably is thankfully something he doesn't have to worry about too much at present. Dribble just loves everyone. All of them. Even complete strangers. And he’d like them to know it. His greeting of choice is generally licking. It’s his sign of affection, although a lot of his clanmates dislike having his slobber all over them. Spoil sports. So maybe he’s not the brightest dragon, or the fiercest, or the best behaved… But he’s loyal and a delight to be around (if you don’t mind the drool). All he wants is to be friends with everyone.
