Morrigan

Morrigan was heavily influenced by her grandfather, who held great magical prowess at the expense of being vessel of the Shade's will. She aspired to be like him in every way. However, the voices did not come willingly to her. No matter how much progress she makes, the void always seems to be out of reach, taunting her as they ebb at the edges of her mind.

She is looked down upon by both Shade-Touched and pure beings, the former for her efforts in what comes naturally to them, and the latter for her dabbling in such things. This infuriates her to no end and has done much to shape her personality, her moods can change from apathetic to intense and irrational in seconds, she is quick to anger and even quicker to lash out. She is also known to carry out impulsive actions which tend to end with destruction to either herself or others.

Morrigan never really had any relationships within her family, not even with her grandfather whom she idolised. It was the idolisation of her grandfather that set her apart from the rest of her family. Morrigan considered her mother, purified of her Shade-Taint, to be a disgrace to their lineage, she was the first victim of Morrigan's misdirected anger. This put her at ends with her siblings, but while she wasn't liked, she was tolerated.

Almost nobody, however, knows of the other victims of her anger, those who, like Morrigan, had no one to miss them. Ritual sacrifice. It was easy for others to come to the conclusion that they had joined the ranks of their deity.
