Pelindar is a tree dragon, well and truly. Due to his species, he was on constant watch when he first moved into the nature clan. The matriarch, Madrigal, gave him strictest command that he was not allowed to tunnel through any living tree, for she had heard the stories of forests ruined by spiral nests, and was not going to let this happen to the patch of serenity she'd created. Pelindar agreed, and found a rotting tree that he was able to carve out a nest in. He lives among the tree tops, practicing his agility by leaping and swirling through the tangles of branches.

Pelindar's arrival to the clan caught the attention of a dragon who was just as green in colouring as he. Her name was Midrin, and she was a mirror dragon who was the matriarch's granddaughter. Pelindar, still settling in and getting used to his new home, did not pay her much heed at the time, though he was grateful for her attention and friendship.
After all, he liked racing through the trees, she preferred to stay on the ground and train. He still chatted with Midrin often, and she filled him in on what she knew of the nature clan's history and plans for the future.
