Toothless' old clan was filled with starving dragons, dragons started to leave the clan on their own in search for food. Most of them have never came back. He decided to leave the clan, perhaps to be on his own, or to find one with food. Toothless eventually came across Starstrikes clan, and decided to make his home there. Although he came in uninvited, Starstrike didn't mind as the clan needed new dragons. Toothless ended up in charge of guarding the clans treasure and hoard, and he likes to make items in his free time. Although most of the items have no use, he likes to keep them as his own accomplishments.
