He doesn't seem to be actively looking for a fight, but he does swat aside his assailant with the seasoned fluidity of a true professional.

Gloom's quiet confidence is not misplaced. He isn't as fast as Khepri, and he isn't as brutal as Bates, but he is physically stronger than both of them put together. Maybe this strength has gone to his head. Maybe he was always a little cocky. Maybe he's just doing his duty - protecting his clanmates and bringing home the bacon, so to speak. Either way, he is best known for cleaning up the stragglers on the battlefield. And for sending them flying with a hearty swat of his tail. Khepri and Bates seem to have made of sport of betting on how far the next one will fly.

It's no secret that Gloom is a sucker for shiny things. The glitter of gold and silver seem to call to him, and he comes back from the coliseum "clinking like a kitchen", weighed down by shiny knick-knacks with little to no functional purpose. Clanmates joke that he's just a stickler for tradition. As Gloom himself puts it: "A dragon without a hoard is just a scaly failure."
