LYLIA
Lylia is one of those coatls who had the misfortune of being born with dull colors. Ever since her birth, her parents worried about what kind of life she was going to live. In addition to that, while she was growing up became clear that her wings weren't strong enough to let her fly.[ SCRIBE ] The Storyteller She should have been doomed to a miserable life, or to exaltation, at best. Hoping Windsinger would find some utility in a dragon that had no place in Coatl society. But Lylia had one passion: writing. She would spend hours wandering around the nearest library, while her peers had their flying lessons. There she read about heroes and villains, and managed to learn how to tell stories. Then came a time when a travelling courier stepped by her original clan. His colors were bright and his wings so broad he struggled keeping on the ground, if the wind blowed too strong. Lylia was immediately drawn to this dragon who was her polar opposite, who could fly whenever he wanted and had no boundaries whatsoever. He was chatty and energetic, while she was calm and shy, but they hit it off anyway. He stayed with her for so long that his original clan had to send seekers looking for him, scolding him for not having returned. But the two could not stand being apart anymore. Rainrider invited Lylia to stay with his clan, that was young and counted not many members, where he was the only Coatl. She didn't think much about it. She left with him, and they crossed the skies together, her weak wings supported by his stronger ones and his innate Wind magic. In her new clan, she found many dragons who had gathered there for a reason or another, and all of them had many stories to tell. Lylia seized the opportunity and offered to write down their stories for them to preserve and to tell their hatchlings. And thus her writing career started. Quote:
Lylia dreams of submitting a story for the Zephyr Times, the Sornieth newspaper for Wind lairs. She's sent in at least three, but none of them ever appear. She's going to keep trying, though: one day her dream will be accomplished!
