She was left outside the entrance to the Skyewings Ancient in a small basket, the tiny Imperial hatchling barely old enough to see. She was given to Umbra, along with some other hatchlings, to raise into the clan.

Zhou met Shang at a young age, being that they both were charges of Umbra, except she is a few days younger than he. They matched so perfectly, not only in colour, but also personality and believing in what's right so well they decided they would be mates when they were fully grown. With Shang already in adolescence, Zhou can't wait for her turn to be grown up.
