The Musician
An accomplished musician, Lrautsi puts much of his mysterious prophecy into his original songs. The trick is knowing which are true and which are just creative musings. It is a sport among the Athridhraikobrichk to dissect these lyrics and try to pin them to any event; whether past, present, or future.
Prophecies of the Past
Lrautsi rights a lot of songs about past deeds, good or bad. What is scary is how well he knows them. For instance, he sings of Ruchka's escape from Orto so well, it's as if he had been there himself. He sings of a clan called Cuddlehearth, which is believed to be Kindleaid, and illuminates that the White Web may have appeared in the Sea of a Thousand Currents; carried down to the Ashfall Wastes by the Maren corpses. Indeed Kindleaid lived close to the frontiers of Ashfall and did scavenge on carcasses that drifted down there, including Maren carcasses! He spoke of a very interesting scuffle in the Shifting Expanse by two rival clans. He spoke of a treasure, but is still debatable what he means by 'looking as use from behind a mask of white'. He predicted the coming of a great mage to Iriya; a mage 'both great and defected'. Dvoshki was born soon after.
Prophecies of the Future
But his most interesting songs are those that may hold a hidden prophecy. His 'Snake Arms' has been thought to mean the coming of a war, possibly with Orto. His 'Lacking Wings' suggests the coming of a great birth, but it is debated as to what that 'birth' is. His 'Flying Blind in the Storm' is debated as to either mean a great war will happen, a great storm will occur, or some other natural disaster. His 'Fragile Hope' seems to talk about the finding of a cure for White Web. His 'Yesterday' seems to refer to some sort of change, but for good or ill, it is unknown.
