Personality

______ Nightfall is a Fading Frosty Eventide. She's known to be reserved and quiet, never giving her opinion freely except when needs must. She looks to her mentor Eve for guidance and follows Twilight diligently as he leads Clan Touchstone's Eventide contingent about the Hewn City. Recently she has become good friends with her guardian Scallywag. The two are often seen conferring over patrol routes and discussing the merits of venturing further into the city.

History

______ Nightfall was born to the Sleeper, Ranna, and her wingmate Xan when Clan Touchstone was settled into the borders of the Hewn City. She was the sixth daughter and eighth hatchling born to the pair, and the only one to stay with the clan. Upon her hatching Nightfall immediately latched onto Twilight, a young Imperial with very similar coloring to herself. The two were born into a time of great strife for the clan. A Foxfire bramble from neighboring Shadow territory had burrowed into the Hewn City near the clan's base and released a pocket of Shade. The Shade Remnant terrorized the clan, corrupting stores and artifacts, even sickening some dragons within the clan. Eve and Flynn were at a loss as to how to contain it, researching frenetically while the Bells and Knights attempted to drive back the Shade Remnant.

______ The now young adult dragons Nightfall and Twilight, having helped research with the Librarians and watched the Knights do battle with the Shade Remnant, hatched a plan together to hopefully defeat it. They brought their plan before the exhausted Librarians and Head Knights and it was reluctantly approved. While most of the brighter dragons of the clan distracted the Shade Remnant wishing to overwhelm them Twilight and Nightfall lead the darker warriors through the shadows of the trees they grew up in to flank the Remnant. All of the clan dragons attacked as one, blinding and smothering the Shade Remnant with their brilliant light reducing it to naught but a memory.

______ To ensure that no further Shade Remnants were released from the Hewn City the Librarians began a rotation of patrols. First to volunteer were the eager young dragons Nightfall and Twilight. Together they coordinated patrols about the city's edges during the most vulnerable parts of the day, early morning and late evenings when shadows abound. When the clan moved on from the City's edge to carve out a home in the Beacon Twilight and Nightfall continued the patrols with less urgency, instructing various clans on the edges in how to defend from shade remnants and what to watch out for when one is loose. They bring back any interesting artifacts and information they find on their patrols to the Librarians to catalog and archive.
